Maintain cleanliness
TOA’s plant is always kept in a clean and sanitary environment. We take thorough hygiene measures, including the removal of foreign substances, not only for raw and packaging materials but also for people.
You can enter only after washing your hands, disinfecting with alcohol and removing dust and hair with an adhesive roller!
Inside the plant
At TOA’s 7 plants nationwide, many staff members are involved in the production of safe and reliable cosmetics and quasi-drugs under a high level of hygiene control.
Incoming inspection of raw and packaging materials
Each incoming raw and packaging materials are inspected to ensure that they conform to quality standards. Release judgement is made on raw materials based on inspections of appearance, odor, and physical property tests, etc. Functional (fitting, airtightness, etc.) and appearance inspections (printed contents, etc.) are conducted on packaging materials.
Check for even the slightest change or abnormality!
Bulk (contents) manufacturing
As this is the area where products coming in direct contact with the skin are manufactured, we select manufacturing equipment and conduct production in accordance with the number of items and orders received under thorough hygiene control, and the bulk is subjected to inspections such as physical property measurement, appearance check, and microbiological inspection.
Depending on the amount of production, it is finely weighed from tons to 0.01 grams.
Container Filling
Once the buk has passed various inspections, it is filled into containers of various shapes according to the intended use. Quality is the first priority, and the products are carefully produced according to the established specifications.
One filling machine can produce more than 10,000 products a day!
Packaging & Finishing
Each product is carefully checked one by one with human eyes and machine such as cameras to ensure that there are no quality problems. Only items that have passed the enormous number of inspections conducted at every step of the process will be released.
The products are carefully checked for dirt, scratches, etc.
Shipment
Based on the product inspection results, a shipment decision is made from the manufacturing plant. Product samples are stored by batch to allow for quality investigation after shipment.
